Some simple dishes/ household staples I can turn into disasters at will -
- Khichdi - comes out so lumpy and dry!
- Masala tea - don't know anything about it!
- Upma - tried twice, both times it was so dry that I choked on it!
- Roti - do what I may, the shape never changes from a world map to a circle. And the roti is never fluffy because I invariably end up puncturing it with the rolling pin.
Hi, for roti knead the dough...roll it and use a plate to cut the shape...
ReplyDeletefor upma...use add water to the masala first and then add suji...little by little till its semi solid ... use ghee instead of oil when you put the tadka
